Masaki Sugisaki X Masafumi Karaki
Join us on the 4th and 5th of September when we will be joined by one of Japan’s most respected and creative chefs, Masafumi Karaki of the acclaimed Mumyo restaurant, and the team from Miyasaka Brewing Company, both located at the foot of the Yatsugatake mountain range.
Masaki and Daniel visited Mumyo last year, and were instantly enamoured by the serenity of the Mumyo experience and Karaki’s ability to share the story of his region so powerfully through his food. Mr Karaki will be joining Masaki at Dinings SW3 to create an eight-course omakase menu, which will be served to 12 guests each evening from our intimate sushi counter. The week prior to this event, Mr Karaki and Masaki will spend time in Cornwall together, sourcing the finest local, seasonal, and sustainable ingredients to shape their menu.
The Miyasaka Brewing Company director, Mr Miyasaka and their sommelier Hugo, will be pouring a range or exclusive sakes to pair with the dishes, and host a sake masterclass for our guests before dinner.
